The mind at sleep, on auto-pilot,

when beliefs become the net,

trapped in our minds given over

to a certain sticky little mindset,

left to trifle with the small things…

the things that can grind the mind

but I thought they were so truthful-

this not the expectation we’ll find!

Influence peddlers of all kinds beggar the senses of us all in the ‘Information Age’ we live in today. The assault is often broad in scope but can be as pin-point as a laser, the pointer used by some professors (not implying a teacher here or a university for higher learning) of the tripe they sell us as truth. Pan handling… gas lighters… gold diggers prevail in all shades to the version and viewpoints spewed out for: our benefit, conditioning and inculcation to the panoply of world talking points- condensed and distilled into one subset of subservient thought. I thought you might like to see where some of them come from, what organization could do it so, and ‘why’ is the question we will be left with- if we’d even consider or ponder longer than we should.

One source is the CFR (Council for Foreign Relations), and their membership roster (as of August 30th, 2015… a list with 4,900 members) is a virtual who’s-who list of prominence… all fields and tapestries to shroud us in thought for time immemorial- left behind for what is the broader question. of one’s belief, what he then sees

is what he wants to, despite pleas

to: do your own thing in your house

(should you seek to please a spouse),

find no fault from stealing my freedom

(to do as I see fitting God’s Kingdom),

and ‘Not to make your problem mine…

(secure your deficit with your own twine),’

for if you’d complain about it being ‘voluntary’

is to pursue an obligatory view of ‘honorary.’

The FFRF is at it again. This time it is attacking University Sports Chaplains… making the claim it is unconstitutional to do so. First, this is based on a false assumption… that the constitution (should) protect one from religion- NOT TRUE! The constitution protects one from injury due to ‘religious persecution,’ and defends the right of the individual to believe as one sees fit. This means an individual has the right to believe as they want to… without butting in to what another believes. Not only the US Constitution but UN’s UDHR declares this to be true- or it is just an opening for anyone to use to go against what someone believes. What happens when we are forced to respond to a reaction… see the link to make your eyes open to the truth. You can stay as blind as you want to… and live with the results!

[Sports chaplains consist of people from many different walks of life. Most commonly, the chaplains are ministers or full-time Christian workers but occasionally, chaplaincy work is done without charge or any financial remuneration. Often, sports chaplains to a particular sport are former participants of that sport. This helps the chaplain to not only provide spiritual support and guidance to a player, but also to give them the ability to empathize and relate to some of the challenges facing the participant with whom they are ministering.] This is not always the case, pro bono (free), and it might come down to contractual agreements made between the: Chaplains, Organizations signed with and the Universities themselves.

For example Chaplain Derrick Moore, under contract with Georgia Tech Athletic Association, conducts: Leading voluntary chapel services, giving pep talks before the games, making oneself available (offering) personal and spiritual guidance, and serving as a staff member for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. To see groups like the FFRF openly contest ‘free will’ to choice (you can still decide not to participate) goes against “Freedom to believe” and would truly be seen as an assault on freedom- with or without recognizing it to be so indeed.

By telling Gen. Petraeus not to do something (by his

use of email) and then doing the same thing…

it sets Clinton up for ‘the smear debate’ of her run

for President… no ‘spy Master’ here with bling,

there are way to many sparklies… the things that

catch the eye [our mind’s eye] of the general public,

for ‘We’ are the people that would vote to foist the

bigger issues with the smaller ones, don’t use a trick

and think it shouldn’t apply to you as well… if we

disregard her apathy to email, what else to fail…

her push for ‘Women’s Health’ issues a clue,

forget the hair color, unplanned parenthood her sail.

Put it all together (here) people… and see things clearly!

No they wouldn’t… read my lips!

What is it to set aside the importance of her misuse of emails but clear support for ‘Unplanned Parenthood,’ and the Abortion Clinic Supreme [paid for with US Taxpayer money… NOW] which does not: follow Medical State Code (rarely does a practitioner have access to Hospital use privilege), County Sanitation standards not met (for a Medical use standard of requirements) and this is support for ‘Women’s Health?’ You might as well go to an alley and use a clothes hanger… it is just as safe! Now with Planned Parenthood coming under fire for the selling of ‘baby body parts,’ there is finally a comparison between ‘human tissue’ and ‘human body parts’ absconded with for profit. What else are they not telling us? I say if they are going to perform ‘Medical Procedures’ then they ought to be called on the carpet for violations of: ethics [remember Jennifer Morbelli and Shady Grove], procedural violations [remember Dr. Kermit Gosnell… now in prison] and (back to emails) General Petraeus was not the only one here- now it is his ex-boss. Where is “the Dream” if life would be terminated… and parts placed on the market? Is this really about ‘Women’s Rights’ or just a legal excuse?

When a couple gets married, I heard

a preacher say…

there are more than just two people

there, so hay-hay,

there is the man she married, the one

you are and the one you can be…

this works the same for her, you didn’t

marry one… you married all three,

to come and find a chasm between the

man you are and the man she hoped for

is when there will be a lasting sigh,

this heard daily and to your ear a chore,

let the expectation diminish, fill all the

gaps in and be the man she needs

or there will be hell to pay… it will not

matter, anger will never listen to pleads

of misunderstanding, rage just builds

to seek discharge… a darn fine vent,

be the man you can be, not the one

you want, a time found she’ll resent.

A greater love can be found when there is but a small gap between expectation and reality. Worse to find out is there is a large disparity of space, a variance, between reality and expectation. This would be fertile ground for: anger, frustration, acting out and communication left to shouting matches. When there is no room left for growth… limited in scope to where one will not make an effort to improve and exert a changebut would rather remain as a conscript to a biased ignorance by choice. It is better to approach a marriage standing… equals should be stand up (honest) with each other, and to strive to be the best you can for your mate- not self serving.

To do nothing to support the marriage entered into is to lead one to ‘the hall of shame.’

If one of the two parties, or both, were not to try to be a part of the whole, the marriage itself, and the one left trusting in the other for support, would cave in. This is when what started with eagerness and excitement can and will surely fail, and ‘shame on the one’ that would do nothing to contribute to the success of the union!

There would only be blame if you would seek out your own pleasure (first) and not think about what it means to do something for the whole [both being one].

P.S.  I really started this as a humorous work… but it ended up as you see it. Initially, yes… the thought is funny but this is much more than being clobbered by cake at the wedding. The bearing of truth to differing opinions, hope and anticipation can and will affect the life of a marriage. Passion a couple will share must not be the only thing that drives people to marry, and transparency (honesty) is the rudder to keep the union on course.
