Can parallels converge?

As with Iraq, where the power vacuum was left void… after removing Saddam (making room for ISIS [thanks to Bush]), the divide provided us in the US under Obama has a very real and inconvenient truth to see (this time on race and tolerance… with favoritism practiced and condoned). The parallels, when looked at, are as striking as they are disturbing.

As if another more prominent scene (today) could be provided,”Oh look… another protest.” This time a protest about the outcome, the verdict, of the Kate Steinle murder trial- in front of the White House. What makes this ‘inconvenient’ is the protest itself. Let’s take a closer look at it, shall we?

It would seem reasonable, for all practical purposes, to think the alt-right more extreme than some might like. If this is the ‘Yin’ then the ‘Yang’ becomes ‘Antifa’ by proxy… now becoming ’the alt-left’ in the absence of description to actions condoned by the left and supported by a well known financial backer, i.e., George Soros. At this protest: the incorrectness of the verdict, a stronger look at building the wall (Southern Border fence), justice denied the victim. The other side, Antifa, is protesting: against racial profiling and against the extremism it sees?

When the incident of question, the death of Kate Steinle, happened in a sanctuary city… one given rise to by leftwing ideology, is to hear Antifa say: race over death, protection over liberty and support to any not our own. This is not a racial thing, primarily, it is an immigration thing… in a city (granting) willing to place it’s own (possibly) in harm’s way. If it isn’t about race then who benefits from it being called that… if support is paid to Antifa for showing up- none other than George Soros himself. George has also supports BLM (Black Lives Matter) and Antifa, together, and does anyone vaguely remember Hillary’s slogan? Is this what was meant or implied?

The agreement recently made with the NFL and George Soros makes it a mockery of race itself, having been used by ‘the Man’ to accomplish an end to a means- with no regard for: country, race (nationality) or human rights! As for me… I have no involvement here if I do not watch another game, and I’ve never been concerned over race so much as to ever get informed or involved myself.

Who used who… and then used us?

As if you thought Ted Cruz wrong for ‘willfully denying citizenship’, now look at it with ‘eyes wide open here’.

This has led to what Ted Cruz has begun (and I would agree), if you [PROVABLY] become associated with a: known terrorist, terrorist group (an enemy of the USA and would seek to cause harm or injury to her citizens [or worse]… even if you are a citizen already) you deserve nothing more than to be stripped of your citizenship and sent packing!

https://lnkd.in/g5TsRku

NOTE: What Hillary did was not as Ted Cruz relates,”… when she was in the Senate, supported very similar legislation,” but she did aid a faceless and unknown enemy hiding behind an International cause- see below…

https://lnkd.in/g-i3ZJf

then this.

I wonder what John Kerry would say… or Hillary… or Obama?

In the US even Christians must follow the rules of the road… the law, and not seek to harm others- if they hold true to the teaching of Jesus Christ.

When does it become vinegar… the wine we’d drink (or is it punch)?

The Democratic Party, and I belong there too, has a lot to answer for: to themselves, of their own actions (look at all the planned protests… still) and those of a corruptible nature through the DNC itself, and backers of the political drumbeats they would follow- so blindly… like backer George Soros (and his support of antifa… just look at what is being done in Europe by these thugs).

Check on a few of these links and see if there is or is not some credibility… and questionable validity to what it really means to be a ‘progressive’ in the political climate we live in today! https://pastebin.com/Z4TXhyQS

As to the left (those who swallowed the pill) pointing to ‘fascism’… and then cowering behind tactics that look like brown-shirts, really! Soros is tilting the world stage and still seeks to impact the whole affair with more chaos than we have already seen. Do you really support this or him? http://barenakedislam.com/2017/08/24/antifa-thugs-chant-george-soros-where-is-our-money/ https://www.cnbc.com/2016/01/20/europe-on-the-verge-of-collapse-soros.html

Can we not see the futility of pointing at one (as if to point to anyone one might be in opposition to as being a fascist/bigot/sexist/pick-your-choice) and then to do worse than they have done to you (in actuality)… the tree of liberty made fruitless by these actions. Still think antifa is the way to go… then you’d have a long way to go to understand the difference between dying for a cause and killing for a cause- two distinctly different natures but currently portrayed as being one and the same… thanks to ‘political correctness’ and the cadre of insipidly mordant followers.

So when it comes to George Soros and the Democratic Party… it is not just a casual connection but an outright war against what it means to be ‘American’ and America itself! To deny this is to stick your head in the sand of indifference and decide the ‘hatred of the past’ is better for us in our future.

One video I’d like to share with you is to see and understand another parallel exists, stemming from Russia, and it is the other extremist (compare the two) to see also. See below…

Then one last tidbit to chew on… see below. http://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/08/26/germany-shuts-down-antifa-related-website-responsible-for-g-20-summit-violence

No more ‘slick-willy’ and her (Mrs. Bill/Hillary) 52 card pick-up

[This is shared for people like Wendy Bugliari, and those short-sighted to want one thing over another (still) and not see we often get what we need. Here is to being positive about what happened over desiring to see it as they’d so choose it to be. Let the house-of-cards fall (finally) and be done with it. Move on and get over it… lead, follow or get out of the way!]

Now that we know what Trump was asking here… and the ‘who exactly’ is known… along with the litany of other dirty tricks- Rodney King said it best,”Why can’t we all just get along?”

Is this truly what one has called,”Christmas in October“… for Trump, and (it’s about time) vindication of a very ambitious smear tactic by Hillary and the DNC? I’d say so… if there is going to be ‘a game of 52 card pick-up, let it be with Hillary behind bars for willfully and knowingly violating ‘reported expenditures’ during the campaign. If she can ‘slick-willy’ her way out of: doing what she did during the campaign (actions and speech), gloss over the truth and even try to change our impression of Benghazi (her facts and what AfriCOM saw with a drone don’t jive… no protestors were present before the attack [top military officials in Stuttgart, Germany (Africom headquarters) watched live feed from a Predator drone]), aiding an International cause placed higher than American values (aid and comfort) or Americans themselves, or covering for Bill with his Weinstein-like behavior… it sounds like some would have been happier with her comforting lies- FROM THE BOTTOM of a deplorable DECK. Maybe she attended Tony Blair’s Faith Foundation (UN aided) before padding her own (an avowed globalist)! More on the ‘Faith Foundation’ here.

So I ask you,”Do actions speak louder than words?

This reminds me of What Rep. Wilson said the other day (without emotion over La David T. Johnson) because it is self-seeking, like the one above. Just a teaspoon of sugar makes the poison go down (easier) than having to choke someone, right? What chokes you up?

When Jane Fonda did the BBC interview, last week, she put back on the same old ‘Hanoi Jane’ hat she has always worn- leftist and Communist (anti-American through-and-through)! She claims to be proud of ‘the resistance’ and we should be proud of her, right? I don’t think so, neither to her actions nor of those by Linda Sarsour, one of the ‘Woman’s March’ organizers- against Trump! Since the resistance is coming from the left (I’m one too but I’m also a Vet), I will not follow in the flow of it by: taking a knee (knowing the history of Ft. McHenry [See below] and Ft. Pillow), kneel to hypocrisy by complacency (thinking as social media would have us all to think, act or say) or forfeit what it means to be an American that truly values this country, people (all of us) or those whom might oppose us (the so-called resistance). What Jane forgot was to place God first… and to honor the providence of His decisions being supreme, among the affairs of mankind, and what it means to encourage the sense of duty to what liberty avails to us with such freedom! Ironic she should spout her dislike in Great Britain (the UK) through the BBC… don’t you think?

Her Father, a Veteran also, would roll in the grave if ‘he only knew.’ Little wonder they didn’t talk for so long a time… after ‘her jaunt’ to Vietnam! Being mad at Trump but to support the woman that enabled Bill so many years… just another Weinstein Hollywood experience- this is bare naked hypocrisy! This is the crossroad of complacency and mediocrity, and they’d call it the resistance! I call it comforting the enemy… and think she might have tucked in the Taliban like Bergdahl did!

“The point of philosophy (today) fails us to inspire amelioration or grant fulfillment 3*”©

(*… 1 is from a contemporary perspective, narrative, 2 will be a blend of politics and religiousness, 3 has to do with philology [thoughts on thinking… and the use of philosophy] and current events [the Las Vegas shooting], and 4 will be limited to a Christian perspective only.)

Fallow is shallow
and it defrays life itself
of lasting, Press On!

When it comes to what the Greeks valued most, it would seem, it would be philosophy (that which told you what one was engaged with in any particular endeavor) but more than this was philology itself- ‘The love of learning’. Philosophy was used to define the nature of the world in which they lived in a secular fashion- without being religious in nature1️⃣. This was the beginning of what many might hold as ‘the building blocks leading to science itself’. From Thales of Miletus, Anaximander… through Plato, Aristotle and Socrates, whatever was discussed was based on ‘reason’ to substantiate it. Even reason was under heavy scrutiny, as by Xenophanes, ridiculing the notion of different nationalities maintaining ethnocentric views to either anthropomorphism or personification of natural phenomena to gods of their own choice. This led to Epicurus and the developement of a complete separation between science and religion as a whole. Pythagoras sought to keep them as combined thoughts, both religious beliefs and reason being of equal importance, forming the symbiotic relationship of one to the other.

1… This is known today as Secular humanism; which pertains to the belief humanity is capable of being moral and can achieve self-fulfillment without belief in God.

Philosophy thus defined: the reasons people did what they did, why they did it (not as if to justify their actions), and became the methodology (unconcerned with any solutions to social issues) used and associated to whatever one studied or practiced- without regard to any specific religion or god directly. Every facet of Greek life incorporated a reason for the behavior of participation, and the reason was explained by the philosophy of each endeavor, from neophyte to alum. Please look under Ancient Greek Philosophy found here, or here with Ancient History Encyclopedia, on Greek Philosophy… affording a clear view of what is referenced to and why! On the last link, pay attention to the very start of it, or the first three (brief) sentences.

Take for example the convergence of philosophies that come to together when there is something that gains the attention of all people- like the Las Vegas shooting. To date, this is one of the largest death tolls, an ‘active shooter event’, and everyone jumps on the bandwagon for various reasons (philosophy at work… being applied). Two of the first few to come into view on this event were ISIS and Hillary- oddly enough. ISIS claimed responsibility, calling Paddock “a soldier of the Islamic State” but the FBI has discarded the reported details as stated. As for Hillary, after a brief ’tweet’ of support for those who lost loved ones, she went to the heart of what she stood for…

[What is seen below comes from https://finance.yahoo.com/news/hillary-clinton-goes-nra-response-144612934.html ]

In a series of follow-up tweets, Clinton wrote that the country “must put politics aside” and “stand up to the NRA,” specifically citing the organization’s stance on gun silencers.

My question is ‘how can we put politics aside’ when the one, coming from the losing party, continues to seek her own ‘Agenda (21)’ first?

Professors are making absurd claims (presenting personal philosophy over curriculum) regardless to truth or reality of the situation, innocent people losing their lives attending an ‘American Musical venue’. This is not then a philosophy… but a philosophy driven push to alter one’s mind from the thoughts we might have- the ability to think for ourselves instead of being spoon-fed what to think! See below…

[Below an abstract of a professor(?) at Drexel University.]

“But liberals will drown out all discourse with a deafening chorus screeching ‘gun control.’ To believe that someone who would shoot down 50 people wouldn’t circumvent any gun law you pass is the height of delusion. The narrative of white victimization has been gradually built over the past 40 years. It is the spinal column of Trumpism, and most extreme form is the white genocide myth. Yesterday was a morbid symptom of what happens… ”

Then the formation of what happens with further reason for Paddock possibly dealing with depression- and the use of anti-depressants. From an article in the Las Vegas Review-Journal online. See below… an abstract.

” …was prescribed an anti-anxiety drug in June that can lead to aggressive behavior, the Las Vegas Review-Journal has learned.”

Even to lead us all on is ’the Fake-News’ News articles portraying a less than realistic covering of ‘real humans caught in the worst of situations’ and concerned more with where they might spin it. Really! Is this what we term Social Media or ‘Unsocial Media’? Shame on you… Facebook, Twitter and Google! Is it true… what I’ll continue to go on thinking in the future!

[A brief snippet… an abstract on ‘conditions’ the public was placed under.]

“… Facebook and Google users would have seen these fake Vegas stories right next to legitimate reports from major news organizations.”

This was ‘a human story’ being mutilated for political interests in points elsewhere but on the issues that truly mattered: innocents injured or killed, a sad plight by large area and those in attendance trapped, when cornered a suicide… and left with no explanation. All we have to go on is the strength of statistics used to carry a ‘burden of (possibility) speculation… the why it was done’ and to be there for all of those people having survived the experience of one man’s madness– philosophy gone wrong.

95% of people who complete suicide have a diagnosable psychiatric illness at the time of death, according to the Journal of American Medical Association. Understanding that depression is the leading cause of suicide, that mental health issues are behind more than 90% of lethal suicidal acts, is critically important for suicide prevention.

Where is hope seen… offered by the philosophies of so many- where is fulfillment found?

“If form follows function… this is the other side of the coin toss!”©

[This is a follow-up to this article, found here.]

If one was to consider form and function first, of the actions we have seen by Colin Kaepernick, does he truly deserve to be honored- if it was done from ignorance? What I mean here is not a racist statement… not an endorsement to disrespecting our National Anthem… not a viewpoint without concern for America as a whole- or even ‘a game’ many Americans watch on Thursday, Monday or Sunday.

When one considers historical the request to stand… during the National Anthem, the very suggestion for it becomes an expected tradition. When this expectation is not honored is when it appears there is a slight to our traditions, the things we gain value from or the values we see as being honorable in and of themselves. This actually begs the question, is it then an expected formality, having form and appearance, or a gesture in accordance with conventional norms of etiquette? Variation to what is currently under such scrutiny (today) is due to the uproar or approval of the action taken by Colin Kaepernick. To see ’taking a knee’ as racist is stupidity; whereas it becomes a racist statement if a raised fist is used (no different than a raised open hand) and not before. I say it is done in ignorance though if… if we remain ignorant to what history has shown us, and that would be to deny the veracity of the strength of reason for what we do.

We get the term ‘uncouth’ from England, this comes from being ‘unknown’ to either present company or to the appearance of things done by someone not from the area- being unexperienced with the customs. This is also called ignorance… or of being ignorant1️⃣ to local traditions, actions taken when people encounter one another in a province, district or locale. This same ignorance to history can apply to social gestures, speech or actions we might consider couth (known and commonplace), take the thumb’s up for example- a sign we take to mean we agree or it’s OK with how we perceive it to be.

1… Ignorant: lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uninformed or unaware. Latin ignorant-’not knowing.’

In Rome when the Emperor displayed his thumb (in the arena) it meant anything but OK… it meant death, or a death sentence for one of the participants. Life was given a signal when the thumb was concealed within the hand, meaning… don’t pull the weapon to use it- keep it in the sheath. From Discover magazine… a brief abstract is found below, an article regarding the thumb and the meaning of its use, called,”Thumb and Thumber”.

But according to Morris, the thumb gesture indicating that a gladiator should be offered mercy or a lucrative deal endorsing Roman Meal Bread was pollice compresso, compressed thumb–that is, covered up, or tucked out of sight. What spectators in fact did was extend their thumbs for a kill and hide their thumbs for an acquittal, writes Morris. This made sense in an arena as vast as the Colosseum, where the kill and no-kill signals would have to be strongly contrasting to be visible at all.

Here is the phrase in Latin: pollice compresso favor ludicabatur [meaning: goodwill decided by compressed thumb]… Life was spared by a tucked thumb inside the fist, making it look like a weapon inside the sheath. A thumb up meant make your weapon look like the thumb, unsheathed. A turned thumb up… sideways, pollice verso, probably meant to use the weapon judiciously- take the life of the Gladiator.

At first Colin Kaepernick sat down to protest, reported by Steve Wyche, NFL Media reporter, Aug. 27, 2016, in Santa Clara, California. According to Steve Wyche, Kaepernick was showing support for the Black Lives Matter movement. See the article here. What followed was The 49er Statement, seen below…

“The national anthem is and always will be a special part of the pre-game ceremony. It is an opportunity to honor our country and reflect on the great liberties we are afforded as its citizens. In respecting such American principles as freedom of religion and freedom of expression, we recognize the right of an individual to choose and participate, or not, in our celebration of the national anthem.”

The NFL also released a Statement, one obtained by NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport:

“Players are encouraged but not required to stand during the playing of the national anthem.”

To fully understand this is to peel back the layers to its beginning, taking a knee, an article on it by Eric Reid, one posted in The New York Times, Sept. 25, 2017. See two brief abstracts below…

That’s when my faith moved me to take action. I looked to James 2:17, which states, “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” I knew I needed to stand up for what is right.

But to quote the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “A time comes when silence is betrayal.” And I choose not to betray those who are being oppressed.

To fully decide for yourselves if actions taken were done from ignorance, as it comes to kneeling, we must learn what is meant by kneeling in the first place.

Knee; Kneel

Can it be, there was a reason for kneeling… or taking the knee, and it is not disrespectful but a form of supplication to what the Anthem, flag and song embody. Look below to what has been foretold all of us (alive) will do when Jesus returns.

Romans 14:11 KJV
http://www.biblestudytools.com/kjv/romans/14-11.html
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

So I ask you, my fellow Americans, was this done in ignorance… I’d think not! Let us not be so rash to decide so quickly, provoking a knee-jerk reaction or so swift in the judgement we ourselves may be in store for in the days ahead. Now is the time we will need the support of each and everyone that calls themselves American… and we need to kneel to God in prayer for the strength to endure sure prophecy that comes upon us all.

Inkedvocabulary/Russell D. Holder

P.S. This is where I lost my sight, on the Black Lives Matter movement, but it does not: remove or lessen the importance to wrongs by some in our society, call for anything being sound reason for its destruction (to remove statues perceived as something being racist) if it would diminish the reason for the strength we’ve gain by overcoming it, or to mean we should not look to find we (truly) have more in common than we do not!
