[Latin for “here and there, everywhere, it does not shine (being darkened by shade)”]
Lead the parade
for all to see,
but don’t expose
me in a tree…
a tree without
the growth of life,
a tree left brittle-
revolutionary strife.
Lives get in the way,
no Che Guevara…
nothing there like
no Pablo Neruda,
the finger pointed
to the distant past
but to affect present
and future contrast.
How does one justify “Experimental psychology” being foisted on the US political stage, as the one woman show (began) will be remembered- the name of Christine Blasey Ford. If allegations (claims or assertions) are all that is needed to stop or impede the progress of anyone, the pointed finger of kangaroo-courts, then don’t be surprised when the information provided turns out to be less than truthful and the reaction you had will be the same one you’ll face. Shame “Social psychology” wasn’t considered at all.
Social psychology: the scientific study of how people’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors are influenced by the actual, imagined, or implied presence of others.
[The abstract below can be found here, Section 4.1 Ockham’s Razor, and through the SEP (Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy.]
Nevertheless, we do sometimes have sufficient methodological grounds for positively affirming the existence of certain things. Ockham acknowledges three sources for such grounds (three sources of positive knowledge). As he says in Sent. I, dist. 30, q. 1: “For nothing ought to be posited without a reason given, unless it is self-evident (literally, known through itself) or known by experience or proved by the authority of Sacred Scripture.”
To take the liberty you enjoy and seek to remove another’s right to do the same as you- just wrong! You cannot read pigeon droppings on sunglasses as one might read tea leaves- this is the time to stand up for what you believe but not using: lies, deception or false claims to justify your actions stemming from political bias or stigma. Tie in psychology, a nationally recognized science, and this is called logical in nature or is it too experimental?
