“Of life… of living and Chris Lane”©

Great is the telling of living this life or

of its passing as storm clouds roll by,

to what capacity or sudden consequence

laid to rest, these the moments that try

our souls and test our mettle… to then

afford us to rise or fall by their occasion,

such is the time we are in, fallen is Chris

Lane, an Australian athlete… as to fashion,

a baseball player from Melbourne… killed

in Duncan, Oklahoma, by two teenagers-

ages fifteen and sixteen [the driver was

seventeen], a rousing thanks to ‘New Agers,’

let me explain… with ‘moral relativism‘ comes

great sacrifice, the license to do as you please,

there are no consequences to address but

the view of one side [wronged] to appease,

this young man gets thrust into one of the

biggest political footballs of our time…

even Tim Fischer [an Australian politician]

decries this [to boycott the U.S.] as a crime,

Secretary of State John Kerry calls the

events of Syria,”A moral obscenity,” really?

“Killing is killing,” there is no moral imperative

if everything is left subjective… so squirrelly,

in every one-on-one situation there will

exist the chance someone will be offended,

logic and reason breath deeply here… it

is the life we have… to be so comprehended.

Is killing just ‘senseless violence’ as Jesse

Jackson called it, simply to be “frowned upon?”

Death is what has happened here, not pranks,

it does depend on which side you are on

to any: event, circumstance or even situation…

to easy today to be offended [thin skinned]

and use it as leverage to gain undo control,

to the delight of an immoral person whined,

this grows hate to a new extreme, legally

the complainer [whiner] needs no proof

see the absurdity of the situation here with

Chris Lane [the victim]… truth to ‘poof,’

ragged is the path we would plod and wide

is its own acceptance for us so put to task,

can you not see the truth here… it leads to

peril for us all, disguised with a smiley mask,

the carrot dangled in front of our face is

an objective to distract us, not meant to get,

it has ever been love we need, not our desires,

to enrich our lives and others, it’s not a sublet,

desire to… want to… lead to what, this is the

purpose to love… to know when we’re wrong,

even though the sparrow falls we should always

remember him, Chris Lane, his spirit’s sweet song.

The world has been given many people and we lose one named Chris Lane… why, to bored teenagers wanting to take a life [race aside and not a factor?]. Let’s blame the instruments used for this, says the president… after a week of silence, instead of the inhumane hands and empty hearts that did this.

Job 37:19 KJV Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

Micah 6:8 KJV He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

[QUESTION: WHICH FORMAT DO YOU LIKE BEST? THE ONE ABOVE OR THE ONE BELOW?]

Where is honor to life if death is sought…

what madness is this that we have bought?

There is no love when selfishness is protected-

no growth found if love itself is then rejected,

what claims to truth when lies are encouraged…

the lies of anyone to secure less discouraged,

plain horror of ‘honor killing’ is enough to know

this history needs to stop, maturity can grow

to include the woman as an equal to man…

free the woman and free the soul- you can.

In some cultures it is OK to kill a woman if [it is thought] dishonor is one possibility the family may be subjected to. To stop a life… to grant a family to be clear of disgrace. There is nothing to be gained but: a loss of human life [possibly a young (female) life], risk to injury is relative to view and the disconnected concern for human life is assumed to be the only relativity desired- it is learned as an expectation and removed from concerns life brings with it in its totality.

Now that the US has dropped the ball…

to deny the principles of fair play,

by supporting [aiding and abetting,

openly] an enemy… what’s left to say?

To ostracize ourown over another is

to deny our ideals of right and wrong,

forgotten “for which WE stand” leaves us

without future support from Egypt by song,

by waiving “Human Rights violations” for the

Muslim Brotherhood [terrorists] unconditional,

and restoring conditions for all people

of Egypt today… we become immaterial,

with a lack of regard for where we’ve

come from creates no regard for anyone,

it is just the moment we should remember

Hamilton and his advice before we’re done.

As Egypt has done… the way to go? Here is an article in the Wall Street Journal Online, August 18th, 2013… http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887323608504579021331718729724.html?ru=yahoo?mod=yahoo_itp or is it right we should then throw the Copt’s to the wind? See what I mean here…

http://www.npr.org/2013/08/19/213401657/egyptian-islamists-turn-their-rage-onto-christian-community Was Hamilton wrong… when he penned,”

The fundamental source of all your errors, sophisms, and false reasonings, is a total ignorance of the natural rights of mankind. Were you once to become acquainted with these, you could never entertain a thought, that all men are not, by nature, entitled to a parity of privileges. You would be convinced, that natural liberty is a gift of the beneficent Creator, to the whole human race; and that civil liberty is founded in that; and cannot be wrested from any people, without the most manifest violation of justice. Civil liberty is only natural liberty, modified and secured by the sanctions of civil society. It is not a thing, in its own nature, precarious and dependent on human will and caprice; but it is conformable to the constitution of man, as well as necessary to the well-being of society.”

[The poem listed below is from p. 53, in “Of eagles and ostriches,”my second book]

“Of the people… for the people?”

When we hesitate we falter…

apprehension leads to doubt,

either with political correctness

or with fear over what its about,

misinformation to alarm us all,

when you think we have no power

is to believe we’re that small…

but the truth is we have the numbers

to cause the government to fear,

we always have since we began…

don’t cower now… be strong this year.

THOUGHT: Jefferson was right… to be

for the people; government is… and

not the other way around.

The mind can be like a steel trap…

prone to resisting efforts which

move it… enable it… bring what it

contains from just past the ditch,

grounded in thoughts that might

jell but not swell in our sight,

to settle on or for things we

were trained… to think them right,

no room exists beyond what we

might be capable of securing… all

the while we believe only the truth

of our training- a really bad call,

unwilling to budge, relent… recant

the truth we embrace… in our face,

when found to be unwilling to so

change… the iron jaws of disgrace.

“A belief is not merely an idea the mind possesses, it is an idea

that possesses the mind”

Robert Oxton Bolton
