Everyone remembers Pearl Harbor Day, Dec. 7th, right? Even people that watch the NFL remember Pearl Harbor… Dec. 7th, 2016 (see below).

‘It just went off… the gun’

Have you seen it before, a defense strategy in court, the gun just went off? Really, here we go again… this time in a ‘Sanctuary City’ and ‘a news worthy trifecta’- dead woman, gun used and immigration! Let’s thank the proud city of San Francisco, this time, where once more is heard,”… it just fired.” Below is an abstract from here… almost ‘another Twinkie defense’ being milked in San Francisco.

Zarate and his defense team maintained the argument that the suspect found the stolen weapon on the pier that day and it “just fired.”

How about another (more rational) explanation, other than the gun just going off by itself kind-of-theory, one by a gun expert from Morgan Hill, California.

Gun control or just creating victims?

Hey jurors!

Think this through… pro-American or pro-terrorist?

As if you thought Ted Cruz wrong for ‘willfully denying citizenship’, now look at it with ‘eyes wide open here’.

This has led to what Ted Cruz has begun (and I would agree), if you [PROVABLY] become associated with a: known terrorist, terrorist group (an enemy of the USA and would seek to cause harm or injury to her citizens [or worse]… even if you are a citizen already) you deserve nothing more than to be stripped of your citizenship and sent packing!

NOTE: What Hillary did was not as Ted Cruz relates,”… when she was in the Senate, supported very similar legislation,” but she did aid a faceless and unknown enemy hiding behind an International cause- see below…

then this.

I wonder what John Kerry would say… or Hillary… or Obama?

In the US even Christians must follow the rules of the road… the law, and not seek to harm others- if they hold true to the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Veteran’s Day 2017

[Note: please read the comment at the end of the article. Thanks!]

If you value a ‘Veteran’ then value also the flag the Vet follows, act in a unifying manner and fashion… and let’s work ‘Together’ to end the insipid aimlessness of protests in the USA going on all over. We cannot live in the past and expect to alter the future but we can live today as if it will impact the future. If something needs to change then we have the rule of law (still) and while we do- don’t take a knee to using your voice and be careful who you consider worthy of associating with… they might not share the same values you are attempting to express or would represent as being something beneficial when it is not! Sorry Colin, you lost me when you hooked up with BLM- a positive and a negative cancel each other out! You don’t see Mickey taking a knee (just saying) and Hillary should have been sued for using Donald Duck’s image during the election!

As to why an ex-President, Bill Clinton, would call (by suggestion) Trump part of the “dictators’ club” and turn around to say,“We need to tell all these people that just make up stuff on the internet to knock it off.” See it for yourself here. Isn’t that what he and Hillary wanted: no borders, one world order and a coming UN directed world? Can you say John Lennon (Imagine)… I know you can! One parting salvo at the Democratic Party and what was done to America under their watch, look first here and then here.

[My standard ’two’ for Veteran’s Day, 2017.]

Standing at the tomb of the Unknown soldier

I stand here to honor you,
and yet they say you are unknown
but I knew you well,
you’ve never been unfamiliar,
you were the American that
would stop to help a stranger,
the hand to feed the hungry,
the one to offer aid to the widow,
sharing your time with an orphan
and visiting the sick or the dying.
I stand now because of you…
that you should care for me,
I am the unknown…
the one you never saw
but knew I’d be here…
thanking you all the same,
and I can only give you the
respect I can offer by:
caring for my country,
not trying to be better than
the next but showing the next
to be better than I am,
sharing the reason you died
was to ensure I would live
and live freely and
for us all to know without
the party across the aisle
there is only a one party system
no different than China.

When the door opens the bag is on fire

From within the vacuum… the empty,
the nothing, where nothing else exists
but the yawning wait and the torturing
hell of destruction that descends on all
those tasting war… the suck, the space
and time between the implosion and the
explosion lasting seconds to years… as it
is all subjective and relative at the
same time, the faceless enemy of the
mind at wait… to wander the wasteland
of moment, either moments before or
moments after… the where dragged to
here years later like a fresh kill
in the teeth of a war-dog wagging his
tail expecting a pat on the head from a
job well done… the one that wakes up                                                                                                                                       in cold sweats during the middle of the
night… in the middle of December from
the middle of the war, standing
amidst the ruin of another human’s
wasted society… where civilization took
a back seat to humanity and dropped a
bag on fire before ringing the door bell.

[ I saw the movie “Jarhead” for the first time the other night… and this
is attributable to the sentiment and reaction to the movie, the war and
the whole damn thing. ]

No more ‘slick-willy’ and her (Mrs. Bill/Hillary) 52 card pick-up

[This is shared for people like Wendy Bugliari, and those short-sighted to want one thing over another (still) and not see we often get what we need. Here is to being positive about what happened over desiring to see it as they’d so choose it to be. Let the house-of-cards fall (finally) and be done with it. Move on and get over it… lead, follow or get out of the way!]

Now that we know what Trump was asking here… and the ‘who exactly’ is known… along with the litany of other dirty tricks- Rodney King said it best,”Why can’t we all just get along?”

Is this truly what one has called,”Christmas in October“… for Trump, and (it’s about time) vindication of a very ambitious smear tactic by Hillary and the DNC? I’d say so… if there is going to be ‘a game of 52 card pick-up, let it be with Hillary behind bars for willfully and knowingly violating ‘reported expenditures’ during the campaign. If she can ‘slick-willy’ her way out of: doing what she did during the campaign (actions and speech), gloss over the truth and even try to change our impression of Benghazi (her facts and what AfriCOM saw with a drone don’t jive… no protestors were present before the attack [top military officials in Stuttgart, Germany (Africom headquarters) watched live feed from a Predator drone]), aiding an International cause placed higher than American values (aid and comfort) or Americans themselves, or covering for Bill with his Weinstein-like behavior… it sounds like some would have been happier with her comforting lies- FROM THE BOTTOM of a deplorable DECK. Maybe she attended Tony Blair’s Faith Foundation (UN aided) before padding her own (an avowed globalist)! More on the ‘Faith Foundation’ here.

So I ask you,”Do actions speak louder than words?

This reminds me of What Rep. Wilson said the other day (without emotion over La David T. Johnson) because it is self-seeking, like the one above. Just a teaspoon of sugar makes the poison go down (easier) than having to choke someone, right? What chokes you up?

“If form follows function… this is the other side of the coin toss!”©

[This is a follow-up to this article, found here.]

If one was to consider form and function first, of the actions we have seen by Colin Kaepernick, does he truly deserve to be honored- if it was done from ignorance? What I mean here is not a racist statement… not an endorsement to disrespecting our National Anthem… not a viewpoint without concern for America as a whole- or even ‘a game’ many Americans watch on Thursday, Monday or Sunday.

When one considers historical the request to stand… during the National Anthem, the very suggestion for it becomes an expected tradition. When this expectation is not honored is when it appears there is a slight to our traditions, the things we gain value from or the values we see as being honorable in and of themselves. This actually begs the question, is it then an expected formality, having form and appearance, or a gesture in accordance with conventional norms of etiquette? Variation to what is currently under such scrutiny (today) is due to the uproar or approval of the action taken by Colin Kaepernick. To see ’taking a knee’ as racist is stupidity; whereas it becomes a racist statement if a raised fist is used (no different than a raised open hand) and not before. I say it is done in ignorance though if… if we remain ignorant to what history has shown us, and that would be to deny the veracity of the strength of reason for what we do.

We get the term ‘uncouth’ from England, this comes from being ‘unknown’ to either present company or to the appearance of things done by someone not from the area- being unexperienced with the customs. This is also called ignorance… or of being ignorant1️⃣ to local traditions, actions taken when people encounter one another in a province, district or locale. This same ignorance to history can apply to social gestures, speech or actions we might consider couth (known and commonplace), take the thumb’s up for example- a sign we take to mean we agree or it’s OK with how we perceive it to be.

1… Ignorant: lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uninformed or unaware. Latin ignorant-’not knowing.’

In Rome when the Emperor displayed his thumb (in the arena) it meant anything but OK… it meant death, or a death sentence for one of the participants. Life was given a signal when the thumb was concealed within the hand, meaning… don’t pull the weapon to use it- keep it in the sheath. From Discover magazine… a brief abstract is found below, an article regarding the thumb and the meaning of its use, called,”Thumb and Thumber”.

But according to Morris, the thumb gesture indicating that a gladiator should be offered mercy or a lucrative deal endorsing Roman Meal Bread was pollice compresso, compressed thumb–that is, covered up, or tucked out of sight. What spectators in fact did was extend their thumbs for a kill and hide their thumbs for an acquittal, writes Morris. This made sense in an arena as vast as the Colosseum, where the kill and no-kill signals would have to be strongly contrasting to be visible at all.

Here is the phrase in Latin: pollice compresso favor ludicabatur [meaning: goodwill decided by compressed thumb]… Life was spared by a tucked thumb inside the fist, making it look like a weapon inside the sheath. A thumb up meant make your weapon look like the thumb, unsheathed. A turned thumb up… sideways, pollice verso, probably meant to use the weapon judiciously- take the life of the Gladiator.

At first Colin Kaepernick sat down to protest, reported by Steve Wyche, NFL Media reporter, Aug. 27, 2016, in Santa Clara, California. According to Steve Wyche, Kaepernick was showing support for the Black Lives Matter movement. See the article here. What followed was The 49er Statement, seen below…

“The national anthem is and always will be a special part of the pre-game ceremony. It is an opportunity to honor our country and reflect on the great liberties we are afforded as its citizens. In respecting such American principles as freedom of religion and freedom of expression, we recognize the right of an individual to choose and participate, or not, in our celebration of the national anthem.”

The NFL also released a Statement, one obtained by NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport:

“Players are encouraged but not required to stand during the playing of the national anthem.”

To fully understand this is to peel back the layers to its beginning, taking a knee, an article on it by Eric Reid, one posted in The New York Times, Sept. 25, 2017. See two brief abstracts below…

That’s when my faith moved me to take action. I looked to James 2:17, which states, “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” I knew I needed to stand up for what is right.

But to quote the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “A time comes when silence is betrayal.” And I choose not to betray those who are being oppressed.

To fully decide for yourselves if actions taken were done from ignorance, as it comes to kneeling, we must learn what is meant by kneeling in the first place.

Knee; Kneel

Can it be, there was a reason for kneeling… or taking the knee, and it is not disrespectful but a form of supplication to what the Anthem, flag and song embody. Look below to what has been foretold all of us (alive) will do when Jesus returns.

Romans 14:11 KJV
http://www.biblestudytools.com/kjv/romans/14-11.html
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

So I ask you, my fellow Americans, was this done in ignorance… I’d think not! Let us not be so rash to decide so quickly, provoking a knee-jerk reaction or so swift in the judgement we ourselves may be in store for in the days ahead. Now is the time we will need the support of each and everyone that calls themselves American… and we need to kneel to God in prayer for the strength to endure sure prophecy that comes upon us all.

P.S. This is where I lost my sight, on the Black Lives Matter movement, but it does not: remove or lessen the importance to wrongs by some in our society, call for anything being sound reason for its destruction (to remove statues perceived as something being racist) if it would diminish the reason for the strength we’ve gain by overcoming it, or to mean we should not look to find we (truly) have more in common than we do not!

If one was to do nothing… as if to vote ‘No’,
like McCain did, is it to then approve
of Obamacare more than it would be seen,
in truth, to throw life jackets at sailors… above
you would be to the people left in the waters
of despair, disillusioned by healthcare failure,
the inequality of: paying for no care, having but
one provider (or soon none) loss does ensure
the forfeiture of ‘a failed system’ pawned off
on all of us, the bait and switch, so apathetic…
and gullible to believe it would work as it was
sold,”kills mice… mailed a brick”, so sympathetic
is McCain… the hero, the ‘Zonie’ that has bragged
about doing nothing for Arizona Vets, is this good?
This is the right thing to do? Here too, nothing!
No… stopping progress to a siphon out-of-control,
worse yet, the sailors in the water (the public)
are swimming away from the life vests… the mole
needs no light to dig a hole for his own selfish
satisfaction, from pressure to throw some light
on the subject, to see by… from and with, just to
simplistic and naive to do that, one sense is sight.

I wouldn’t call McCain a hero… just an unfortunate that was shot down and captured. This same guy has rolled over on the people of his own State, the same ones he used to rise to the status granted by some… to call him a hero, and it is time he goes forward to the annals of history. This also included being forced to pay for ‘Planned Parenthood’, even if you did not agree with what they stand for… what they do… or senseless killing of innocents! Wasn’t this then taxation without representation… one of the very reasons we rebelled against the crown- in England?
